We provide opportunities for schools to visit the countryside but it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our growing network of supportive estate and rural business owners who welcome us into their world.

We need more host venues from all sectors of the countryside so please get in touch to talk about the benefits of hosting a visit.

We create an enjoyable educational visit, which engages meaningfully with children and links to the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. We will work closely with you to make an inspiring countryside experience.
Volunteering

We rely on volunteers to enable us to help people to learn about the countryside. Our volunteers come from a variety of countryside backgrounds and possess a wide range of specialist knowledge, which enhances the learning experience.

You can volunteer and commit as much time as you like.

We always need more volunteers to give classroom talks in primary and secondary schools across Scotland. Please contact us if you can help.
We rely entirely on the goodwill of individuals and the grant support we are awarded from trusts and foundations. We need continued financial support in order to carry out our work and help people to learn about the countryside.
