Introduction

Countryside Learning Scotland gathers and processes personal information in accordance with relevant General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), laws and this privacy policy.  This policy gives information on how, why and when we collect personal data along with your rights and our obligations.

As a registered Scottish charity working with young people, schools, colleges and rural businesses, we may need to collect information about you as part of our work.  This could be specific to a project but we will make sure you are aware of what information we are collecting, why and will ask for your permission to do so.

  • Names and contact details for carers

  • Dietary requirements (including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and halal requirements)
  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or additional support information (includes reasonable adjustments and special educational needs and disabilities)
  • Photographs
  • Exam results and qualifications
  • Information relating to compliments and complaints

We collect or use the following personal information for dealing with queries, complaints or claims:

How long we keep information

Countryside Learning Scotland only retains personal information for as long as is necessary.  It is our policy to keep your data for a maximum of 8 years after which time it will be destroyed.
